Budafest is an inner city metro-festival that takes place over multiple venues with one main festival site nestled into the side of the Danube river.
Think of a metro-festival like a holiday to an incredible city with thousands of like minded people, where you move around the cities most famous venues experiencing your favourite artists by night and exploring the city by day.
It’s the ultimate way to fully explore a new city, make incredible memories and meet amazing people.

The Sparty is one of the most unique party experiences anywhere in the world. Get vibey 40 degree thermal water in the historic surroundings of the biggest and most famous spa anywhere.
Szechenyi spa is transformed with a huge sound system, lasers and inflatables for a night you will not forget.
IMPORTANT - select your sparty option carefully, as they are quite different.
Saturday 31st:
The traditional event hosted by Sparty. Feel good party vibes all night. Saturday is a popular option as it doesn’t clash with the rest of the festival line-up.
Tuesday 3rd:
Budafest X Sparty. Please note, this clashes with the line-up at the other venue on the same night. If you’re only staying for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of sept, this is the perfect option.

There is literally nothing better then chilling in the thermal baths, lazing in the sunshine and hitting the sauna and steam rooms to rid you of your hangover.
The Spa is open for business as usual during the day (no sparty) and is a favourite oasis for our guests.

getting around
Public transport is cheap and easy to navigate, although we DO NOT recommend using taxis as many are so called ‘gypsy’ cabs which will charge you 3 or 4 times more than they should.
Our guides are on hand throughout the day at popular locations and hostels to make sure you get the most out of your trip.
We also put on free handy Budafest Shuttle busses for venues that are slightly further away that are available to all guests.
