Public transport is cheap and easy to navigate, although we DO NOT recommend using taxis as many are so called ‘gypsy’ cabs which will charge you 3 or 4 times more than they should.
Our guides are on hand throughout the day at popular locations and hostels to make sure you get the most out of your trip.
We also put on free handy Budafest Shuttle busses for venues that are slightly further away that are available to all guests.
Most people choose to stay with our official hostels in order to be with other festival guests.
You can book these as part of the process on our booking system.
Hostels sleep between 2 and 10 people in shared dormitories.
If you have specific sharing requests, please let us know as early as possible. We will always do our best for you, but can’t make guarantees.
